On Saturday, August 14, in partnership with Oakville Place, we hosted a Drive-Thru Food Drive where donors stayed safely in their vehicles as volunteers unload donations to stock the shelves of Halton food banks and ensure our most vulnerable neighbours are served.
In just two weeks, our volunteers, sports clubs and partners coordinated the Help Feed Our Kids: Drive-Thru Food Drive welcoming compassionate community members who delivered thousands of pounds of non-perishable food donations and monetary donations to support our beneficiaries: Kerr Street Mission | Food for Life | Compassion Society of Halton | Halton Women’s Place | Carpenter Hospice.
